Lighting 101 Description

Wall mounted fixtures can be used for many purposes. They can be used as a source of ambient lighting where hanging or ceiling lights are inadequate. In the bathroom, wall lights are used as the main source of task lighting- and to direct light onto the ceiling.

Bath Brackets

Bath brackets are generally used above the mirror for task lighting. These fixtures come in lengths of 16-60 inches, with upto eight bulbs. You should use a vanity light with glass diffusers or frosted bulbs to avoid glare and discomfort. Ideally, a fixture with halogen bulbs are used because of the crisp, bright light.
